Related Link : Kopi Cine, Stewart Lane

Another week has passed by..another visit to a new place..With a cosy and homely ambiance, China House brings you a variety of 40 types of cakes, a selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks on the menu..

China House is a traditional pre-war shop house being converted into cafe, gallery and theatre..located at the Heritage Walk in Penang..China House was previously located at Stewart Lane with the well-known name of Kopi Cine behind the Goddess of Mercy Temple, however, they are now situated at a new location at Beach Street..

Look for the China House Shop Sigh for first timers..

China House Entrance ( Beach Street )

Two entrance for patrons to enter the shop..preferable entrance for day patrons as the other entrance leads to the canteen @ China House..

Looks almost the same as the previous Kopi Cine..

Cake Selection

China House provides 40 selection of types of cakes..However not all are displayed at the counter..

Big Breakfast

The Big Breakfast comes with Two Sunny-side Up Eggs, Lamb Sausage, Beef Patty, and Sauteed Spinach with Mushrooms..Four toasted bread which is accompanied with butter,Chilli Jam (Recommended with the Beef and Lamb), Caramalized Onions and Lemon Hollandaise Sauce (Recommended with the Eggs)..

The Big breakfast is perfect for sharing among two people..unless you have a big appetite for food! It will only cost RM30.00 per serving..

Chocolate Rapsberry Layered Cake and Gula Melaka Ice Cream

The cakes are something which you should order for dessert..I miss the old Gula Melaka Ice Cream Layered Cake which I previously had in Kopi Cine..They have removed all items from the old menu..

The Chocolate Rapsberry Layered Cake consist of 6 Layers of Chocolate Cake, Chocolate filling, Rapsberry fruits and Cream in each layer...which costs RM15.00..
I ordered a Gula Melaka Ice Cream to accompany the cake..There are roughly around 14-15 selections of Home made Ice Cream..for RM8.00 per scoop..

English Breakfast Tea

As usual..I'll order my favourite English Breakfast tea in a pot..I would recommend for sharing among two people as one pot can fill up to 5 cups..It will cost you only RM10.00 per pot..

Iced Mocha

Or would you fancy something cooling with caffaine..? Have an Iced Mocha to cool yourself down on a hot and sunny day.. for only RM10.00..

Iced Water

Some Iced Water for you?
