After having lunch..it was around 9.45AM and quickly we rushed to the Sentosa Monorail..and took the monorail towards Universal Studios..!

Xmas Tree at Universal Studios

When we reached Universal Studios, it was around 10.00AM..and we learned that the tickets are all SOLD OUT!! Seems like the tickets are sold out one hour after the park was opened..! I wonder if it was worth it that so many people rushed to enter the theme park..? Since, the tickets are sold out..we decided have a walk around universal studios before heading to other stations..

Me

The famous Universal Studios Globe which I think everyone will take a picture with when they visit the place..Look how tiny I am standing below it..

The picture would have been perfect if the guy had not been standing there..It was difficult to take a picture of the whole globe..it is just huge..!

Candylicious Shop

As we were about to leave Universal Studios, we saw this shop opposite the theme park..the Candylicious Shop which sells all kinds of candy..

Luge and Skyride

After taking enough pictures..we decided that it is time for rides and attractions..and the first one which caught our attention was the Luge and Skyride..After buying our tickets..which costs roughly SGD14.00 per pax for two rounds of each ride..We head on to the LUGE ride which is the first ride..

The Skyride

Top of the Skyride which is also the end part of the ride..

On the Skyride

We were not allowed to take pictures of the Luge Ride..so there will not be any pictures of it..After the Luge Ride..we headed towards the Skyride..and it was a great experience..being up above the ground..and it was windy..however, the ride can be dangerous too..as there is only a steel bar protecting us..

Me and Dear

Both of us on the Skyride...it was difficult to take a picture on the ride..as we were so afraid that we will drop the camera..!

The Four

After taking a rest at the Hotel..We decided that we should go out for dinner and also to explore the night life in Singapore..and where else to enjoy the perfect night out besides Clarke Quay..?

Clarke Quay Area

Clarke Quay area is surrounded by Night Market Stalls, Restaurants which consist of Fine Dining and Casual Dining, and of course the main attraction would be the clubs..!

Ice Cream Seller

During the day, me and Dear was searching for the wafer ice cream that we both love since the last time we went to Singapore..! However, it was a sad thing that they didn't have any at Orchard Road compared to last year where there are tonnes of them!

So, seeing this uncle selling the wafer ice cream, we were so excited and head on to buy our favourite wafer ice cream!

Ripple / Rapsberry

So we ordered the Ripple Flavour, which is actually Rapsberry flavour, and also our all time favourite..the pricing are still the same, which is SGD1.00..Simply delicious..!

Clarke Quay Bridge

As we continue our journey, we saw a bridge which leads us to Clarke Quay Area..There were people eating and drinking along the bridge..and it is such a nice place to chill..

Boat Quay

You can take a boat ride at the Boat Quay which tours around the whole Clarke Quay area..taking the boat can be romantic as during the night..the lights from the buildings are mesmerizing..

Dear and Me

Thanks to Darren for taking such a nice picture of the both of us with the Clarke Quay bridge..

Christmas Deco

Christmas Decorations along Clarke Quay Area..

Mini Stalls

There are lots of mini stalls selling accessories, clothes, hand phone accessories and even food..!

Waraku Japanese Restaurant

We decided to have our dinner after walking around for about an hour..We headed back to Central Shopping mall and finally found a Japanese restaurant called Waraku..

Beef Kaminabe

As for Jye, he decided to have the Beef Kaminabe, which is actually beef cook on paper pot..We both have been craving for beef for a long time..and since the beef was cooked on paper pot, it looks interesting..and ordering it was a good choice too..cause the beef actually tasted tender and tasty..

The beef kaminabe costs around SGD10.80 per serving..

Pork Ramen

For Phui Leng, she ordered a bowl of Pork Ramen which comes with pork Slices and seaweeds..A bowl of Pork Ramen will cost only SGD9.80..

Tori Tamatoji

Since I felt like having noodles with soup..I go for the Tori Tamatoji vegetables, fish cake and pork cubes..the soup is made up of stock and egg..A bowl of this will cost around SGD7.80..

Curry Katsu Don

As for Darren, he ordered the Curry katsu Don for his main course..which actually tasted very delicious..the curry is thick and it one of the best Curry Katsu Don I ever had..and a bowl of this will only cost SGD12.80..

Unique Designated Earphones

After dinner..it was time to stroll around the night market..which sells a lot of stuff, like Clothes, Girls Accessories and tech Accessories like the one I bought above..the one which has the colour pink and black belongs to Phui Leng, Jye's was the one with stripes and mine will be the pink and white tablet..

Brother told me that there is an outlet in Queensbay, Penang selling those earphones for RM20 each..I saved up alot as the ones we bought above, costs us SGD 10.00 for 3 pairs!! Even after conversion, we still save alot..!

Blue Christmas

Heard of the Song Blue Christmas..? This Blue Christmas tree suits the song..

Me and Dear

Here we are posing with a Christmas Tree Again..

Blueberry Wafer Ice Cream

We stopped by for another ice cream again, as dear wanted to try out new flavours besides Rapsberry..and the blueberry actually tasted as good as the Rapsberry..!!

Both of Us

The both of us..with our favourite wafer Ice Cream..See how happy he is holding the Ice Cream..!

Darren and Phui Leng

When we were done with the Night market..we know it is time for us to party..!! We actually walked around looking for clubs to go to..however, we finally picked a club with the name Yello Jello..

After ordering our drinks..it is then picture time..! See Phui Leng giving the thumbs up..She looks so cute..!

Dear and Me

It's been quite some time since me and him took a picture together in a club..I just love this picture above..

Me and Phui Leng

Nice..again another picture that I like..

Tiger Beer

Our drinks finally arrived..we ordered a jug of tiger beer which costs us around SGD28.00..That was all we had for the night, as we don't plan to tire ourselves out..since we plan to go out early the next day..

Musical Instruments on Stage

There is a stage which beside the DJ Booth which are used my bands to perform..

Let's talk about the ratings of the club..
It is actually a nice club, has a small space thought, but the sound system was amazing..! The songs played by the DJ was great too..and of course..the best of all..Singapore clubs don't allow people to smoke in there unlike clubs in Malaysia..! So for non-smokers like me..I wouldn't mind clubbing all the time if it is in Singapore..=)

Band

Here comes the band..which I though was amazing..I love the voice of the drummer and the lead singer..and one thing good about the band is that all the members of the band knows how to sing and perform..unlike some bands which always leave the singing to the leader..

It was around 2.30AM when we left Clarke Quay..by taking the taxi back to our hotel, it was almost 3.00AM..and of course..after cleaning ourselves..we went straight to bed..!

It was Day One ( 10th December 2010 ) in Singapore, and as we all have planned..we headed on to Orchard Road to start off our day..It was a cloudy day..and it was such a nice day to hang out in the open air..

Christmas Tree at ION Orchard

We arrived at the Orchard station through the MRT which is below the ION Orchard Shopping Mall..As soon as we came out of the Shopping mall..we saw this huge Christmas Tree..It looks nicer than the one which was on display last year..!

Me and Dear

So quickly we took out our cameras and start snapping away..! The purple colour of the tree is such a nice background for our picture..

Both of Us

There is an entrance to enter the Christmas Tree..and it was so beautiful on the inside..The purple lights were so bright and it goes all the way up to the top of the Christmas tree..!

Dear with Nutmeg

If I'm not wrong..the nutmeg is the ION Orchard's logo..? It was on display since the last time I went last year..and it is still there today..

ION Orchard

I remember I took a picture of the ION Orchard last year..so not gonna take more pictures of it..So here's part of the ION Orchard building during the day..

Giant Statues

Seems like those giant statues are still there after a year..they look so different during the day..

Hmm? What's he reading?

Look at the size of the statue when I'm standing beside it..

Korean Kimchis

After walking around, we decided to have lunch..and we headed on towards Wisma Atria where the Food Republic is located..I still remember that I had lunch at the same place exactly one year ago when I visited Singapore..
We had Korean Kimchis for our lunch that day..as we felt like having something spicy and look at the beef keeps me wanting more..!! So me and Jye go for the beef kimchis, but the difference is that the one he ordered, has a BBQ Beef!

Dear, Me and the Christmas Tree

After lunch, we continue our journey in the Wisma Atria Shopping mall..Again, I can't believe I took a picture with a christmas tree at the same place again one year ago..

Tiffany and Co. Christmas Tree

We got out of the Shopping mall, and head on towards Somerset Road which is just ahead of Orchard Road..then we saw the above Christmas Tree which was sponsored by Tiffany and Co.. Look at those cute small boxes of presents..which looks like ring boxes..

Marche Restaurant

As we entered a Shopping mall 313@Somerset, We came upon this restaurant called Marche ( pronounced as Marshay ), It was so captivating and the way the place was decorated looks like a farm house bakery..!

Pastries

Look at all the delicious pastries..It looks so tempting and mouth-watering..!

Bakery Overall

Here's the overall of the bakery and how it looks like from the outside..I just love the decorations in the shop..

Marvelous Cream

As we walked on by, after Marche, we stopped by Marvelous Cream which sells Japanese Sweet parfait..which is also known as ice cream and waffle..I remember coming here once last year..and there was a long queue of people waiting to be served..and the workers were displaying their ice-cream throwing skills..!

Strawberry and Strawberry

Me and Jye decided to try the ice cream as we did not have the chance to try it last year..and Strawberry and Strawberry was one of the famous selections in Marvelous Cream..and one of it costs us around SGD3.00..Honestly, I didn't really like the taste of it..as the waffle was too soft..and the ice cream doesn't taste as good as it looks..I was quite disappointed..

Dark Cherry Compote and Custard Pudding

As for Phui Leng and Darren, they ordered the Dark Cherry Compote and Custard Pudding to share among themselves..and it costs the same as mine too..SGD3.00..

Second Longest Escalator

After leaving 313@Somerset, we headed on to Orchard Central as I was actually looking forward to visit the Asian Food Channel(AFC) outlet in Singapore..Upon reaching Orchard Central..we found out that the escalator leads us directly from 4th to the 7th floor!! Wow..I was freaked out honestly..and I was actually afraid to take a ride..but in the end..I decided to go for it..!

Asian Food Channel ( AFC ) Entrance

As we reached the 7th floor..it was the AFC outlet on our left..and quickly I took out my camera and start snapping away..! I was so excited as I finally get to visit the outlet that I have been wanting to visit for a long time..

One of the Chefs

Saw a chef preparing the ingredients for their cooking class..

Rest and Relax

There is a rest and relax area in the AFC outlet..where you can buy the food provided or books to read and relax at the same time..

AFC Merchandise

Look at all the AFC merchandise on display..I was so tempted to buy some of the products..but I was afraid that it was not worth it to buy..thinking back..I should have bought something..!

Me and Dear

Both of us..posing with our favourite channel's logo..! I just love the colour of green which is also the theme of the AFC Channel..

Drinks and Pastries

There are drinks and pastries which are for sale at the outlet..and I would advise those who intend to visit the outlet to try out some of the pastries..

Clothes for Sale

Actually I thought of buying one of the t-shirt for myself..buy my dear said I shouldn't as it was not worth it..The aprons which are for sale looks really colourful and nice..If I were a cook..I would have bought it at once..

Maple Cream - Cream Puff

Well, like I said, for those who are visiting the outlet should try out their pastries..and the above was what I bought..! Doesn't it look tempting to you..? The Maple Cream costs us only SGD1.50 for two..!! It was worth every bite, as it is so tasty..I wanted more..

Merchandise bought by Darren

Darren bought a Dessert book which is created by Daniel Tay as he was interested of the contents and wanting to learn more about it..

Longest Escalator

Finally, we reached the longest escalator I have ever ride on..! It starts from the 7th floor and ends at the 11th floor..!! Wow..but this time..I wasn't that scared of it anymore..As my adrenalin had prepared me for the ride..!

Me

That's me posing in front of a fine dining restaurant at the 11th floor..seems like there are many people who are willing to go that high to dine at such a nice place..

Paradise?

The reason I said it was a paradise was because it was written at the signboard..but I do not understand why it is called a paradise..perhaps a paradise of weird creatures?

Creative Decoration

As we headed on towards the loo, we saw this creative decoration which above the stairs which leads to the 12th floor which is also the Roof Garden..The above picture looks like there are two persons..!

Dear

Took a picture of him standing in front of the mini waterfall at the Roof Garden..which is also a nice place where there is a wide view of the city..!

The both of Us

Can you spot the Marina Bay Sands behind us..? It looks so magnificient..! Too bad we did not have enough time to go to Marina Bay area..!

Pastries from Marche

After walking around Orchard Central, we decided to have something for tea time..so we headed on back to Marche at 313@Somerset and bought some pastries..!

Ceasar Salad and Bruschetta

Phui Leng and Darren decided to have something light, so they ordered the Ceasar Salad to share among themselves..It was delicious as Phui Leng let me have a few bites of it..!! As for me and dear, we ordered a plate of bruschetta, which is topped with cheese, onions, tomatoes and other vegetables with olive oil..!! Simply delicious..!

There will be more postings on Marche in the next two post, So stay tune if you want to know more about the place and the food..!

Me and Phui Leng

Finally before leaving the place..Me and Phui Leng took a picture together..Its been a long time since we both took a picture together..and it is nice to have one..! =)

We headed on back to our hotel around 5.00-6.00PM to rest and refresh ourselves..before going out again..!
