Dinner at Midland Court

Few days ago..we went for dinner at Midland Court Restaurant which is located at One Stop, Penang..The Restaurant has been there since the Opening of One Stop Shopping Centre..So it is one of the oldest shops in the building..!

Midland Court is famous for Wedding functions..and Annual Dinner functions..The food there is amazing..and the Service is good as the waiters and waitresses are all friendly..and most of the time you will bumped into the Owner, who still looks healthy in his Sixties..! Friendly and nice guy!

The stir - fried napa leaves are also known as "Nai Pai" in Mandarin or "Nai Pak" in Cantonese..this is one of my favourite it tasted sweet when it is cooked..The Napa Leaves comes with flat fish which is crispy after a deep fried..Yum..

This is a unique dish..and Mum said its healthy for woman who just gave birth.. Anyway..the chicken taste good..and I think its something different from what we normally order such as Mango Chicken or Sour Plum Chicken which is deep fried..

Well..Stir fried is always healthier..

The beancurd comes wtih minced meat, chopped shitake mushrooms, spring onions and small pieces of Salted fish..Mmm..personally this is one of my favourite dishes..The sauce is the best and the mushrooms are not bitter as some Shitake Mushrooms can be bitter as they have medicinal values..

Don't forget the Salted fish..they go well with the beancurds and rice..

I cant say this is a unique dish...but somehow people seldom order Kai-Lan with Sambal, as normally Sambal goes along with Convolvulus ( Eng Chai / Kangkung ), I didn't expect Kai-Lan to be good when it is cooked with Sambal, but tasted good and the Stems are juicy and Crispy too..!

Many Chinese Restaurants do serve this dish..There are artificial Shark Fins and Genuine Shark Fins..It is cooked with Eggs and Vegetables such as Carrots..It can be taken with rice but it is recommended to be wrapped in Cabbage Leaves as it will be tastier..! Quite a unique dish..!

This is one of my favourite dishes..I love fish..and I love it more with sweet and sour sauce..! The Sweet and Sour Fish comes with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes..It smells and taste good..and it goes well with the Steam rice..! Yummy..

Soya Bean 

Ahh..Dessert time..Tasty Soya Bean!! The dessert is Free Of Charge and it is served at the end of our meal..Mum loves the Soya Bean lots...and I actually like it too..the Soya Bean is smooth in texture and there are lots of Ginko nuts in it..*slurp* ..Do you know that Ginko Nuts are good for the human body..? =)

Overall..I had a great dinner..!! Thank God for the amazing food..! Amen.
